The latest update for iManager increases visibility of key system performance metrics that are now delivered as built in charts in addition to the network management support via SNMPv3. The enhancements to software make it easier to plan capacity and check on iManager Communications Server loading using a browser based dashboard. The inbuilt monitoring includes Ethernet traffic, CPU and memory utilisation, call traffic and call summaries, together providing system administrators with a statistical understanding of the networks load and usage in real-time.
Software enhancements have also delivered a 50% capacity increase on virtualised appliances (S920/S910) and a 300% increase when deployed as a ‘bare metal’ solution, permitting more conferencing, and line barge per server. This result allows higher user counts and increased density of the solution which reduces the need for rack space, power and cooling in the datacenter.
